Villa Grainger - between Orange and Vaison la Romaine

 

This very comfortable villa has 4 bedrooms and sits in its own grounds, with mature trees and hedges, electric gates, and swimming pool. It is a 5 minute drive from Vaison la Romaine, and is close to the pretty hilltop village of Villedieu.

 

 

 

The Entrance Hall leads to spacious open plan lounge and dining area, (approx. 14 m x 6 m). Sliding patio doors lead to the terrace and garden.

 

 

 

 

 

There is a modern well-equipped kitchen next to the dining area. It has a built-in ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. An adjacent area contains more cupboards and a freezer. From the kitchen a door leads out to a small breakfast terrace.  At the end of the hall is a laundry room with washing machine,  drier etc.

 

 

 

 

The lounge is very comfortably furnished, with an open fireplace and lovely views over the garden.  It has satellite TV, DVD player, iPod dock  and wireless internet access.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The hallway has storage space and a separate cloakroom with WC and hand basin that serve the downstairs. There is a wide staircase leading to the first floor.

 

 

 

 

 

The entrance hall leads to the first bedroom downstairs, a bright double, which has an en suite bathroom ( bath with shower over and hand basin).

The second double bedroom has twin beds and an en suite shower room.

 

 

 

 

 

Upstairs is a third double bedroom with a small sunny terrace with furniture overlooking the garden and with beautiful views across to Mt. Ventoux.

 

 

 

 

 

The fourth bedroom, also upstairs, is a children’s bedroom with bunk beds plus one other single bed and pretty views.

A Shower room with hand basin, and a separate W/C is shared between the two upstairs bedrooms.

 

 

 

The large garden is a lovely place to relax, laid out as it is with mature trees, lawn, hedges and views to Mt. Ventoux.  Wide safe steps lead down into the swimming pool (7 m x12 m) and by the smaller terrace is a stone BBQ.

Garden furniture is provided for lounging and also for al-fresco dining on the delightful terrace, and all in all there is plenty of space to enjoy the wonderful views and calm surroundings.

The property has room for secure parking inside the gates at the front of the house.
